The gospel is the power of God to Salvation.
Rom 1:16-17
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for It is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
There is only one gospel.
Gal 1:6-8
6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
All scripture is inspired of God that we may be equipped for every good work.
2 Tim 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
No prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation.
2 Peter 1:20-21
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
We are not to add to or take away any of God's word.
Rev 22:18-19
18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
The Word of God is able to save our souls, if we are doers of the word.
James 1:21-22
receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only.
COMMENTS:
God tells us that the bible is all we need for all of our spiritual and physical needs. It is able to save our souls, if we will be obedient to it. We need to be very careful using any material that men have written and only use it, if it does not add to or take away from God's own Words.
